These Affiliate Terms of Service ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in any affiliate program hosted on Arkvon. They apply in addition to the general Arkvon Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. By joining a campaign, accepting an invitation, or earning commission through Arkvon, you agree to be bound by these Affiliate Terms. The merchant who runs each campaign sets its commission rate, payout cadence, and program-specific rules — those merchant-defined terms apply on top of the rules below.
To participate as an affiliate on Arkvon, you must:
Be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement
Provide accurate signup information, including a real name and email you control
Maintain only one Arkvon affiliate account (multiple accounts are grounds for suspension)
Comply with the laws of your country of residence and the merchant's country, including consumer-protection, advertising, and tax laws
Provide accurate payout details (Wise / PayPal / Stripe) when prompted, and keep them up to date
Arkvon attributes a sale to you when a customer purchases through your unique affiliate link or signed tracking token. The mechanics are:
First-touch attribution: a customer is bound to whichever affiliate they clicked first on a given campaign — subsequent clicks from a different affiliate do not override this, even if the customer signs up via that later affiliate's link
Cookie window: 30 days. If a visitor returns within 30 days of their last click on your link, the cookie credits you. If their browser blocks cookies, falls back to a server-signed token ("trk") embedded in the redirect URL — same 30-day expiry
A click is only counted when our fraud filter accepts it (suspicious-IP cache, rapid-fire patterns, and bot user agents are blocked or down-weighted) and the click row is successfully persisted
A lead is only counted when a tracked form on the merchant's site is submitted with an email and the request passes origin / token verification
A commission is only credited when a Stripe payment from the customer carries Arkvon's attribution metadata (the merchant is responsible for passing this metadata at checkout)
You agree not to engage in any of the following while participating in any campaign on Arkvon. Violations may result in commission forfeiture, payout reversal, and termination:
Cookie stuffing, click farms, automated traffic, or any scheme that drops attribution cookies without a real human click
Self-referrals, including using your own link to purchase the merchant's product or coordinating with friends/family/employees to do the same
Impersonating the merchant, using their trademarks or logos beyond what the merchant explicitly permits, or implying an official endorsement that doesn't exist
Bidding on the merchant's brand keywords on paid-search engines unless the merchant explicitly allows it in writing
Misleading promotion: false claims about the product's price, features, refund policy, or guarantees; fake testimonials; clickbait headlines that misrepresent the offer
Spam: unsolicited bulk email, comment-section spam, or any communication that violates the recipient's local anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR e-privacy)
Reverse-engineering, scraping, or attempting to manipulate Arkvon's tracking, dashboards, or webhook payloads
Promoting the merchant's product on websites or platforms that traffic in illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content
Commissions are determined by each merchant per campaign and are not set or guaranteed by Arkvon.
Commission rate, type (percentage or fixed amount), and recurrence (one-time, recurring with a cycle limit, or recurring while the campaign is active) are set by the merchant and visible on the campaign's affiliate dashboard
Commissions are calculated against the customer's payment as recorded by Stripe — taxes, payment-processor fees, and currency conversion losses are deducted before the rate is applied where applicable
Recurring-limited campaigns count cycles in calendar months. Customers billed weekly or daily exhaust the cycle limit faster than the calendar would suggest (one invoice = one cycle slot regardless of interval)
Refunds and chargebacks reverse the commission proportional to the kept revenue (a 30% partial refund reduces the commission by 30%, not 100%). Disputes won by the merchant restore the commission
A lead being marked "Converted" in your dashboard does not automatically mean you earned commission — first-touch attribution may credit a different affiliate. Your dashboard's "Total referred customers" tile reflects what was actually credited to you
Payouts are settled by the merchant on the cadence and method they configure for the campaign, not by Arkvon.
Default cadence is monthly: at the start of each month, eligible commission earned in the previous month is grouped into a payout invoice and sent to the merchant for settlement
The merchant configures a payout term (e.g., NET_7, NET_30) — your payment date is the end of the coverage month plus that term
Each campaign has a minimum payout threshold. Commission below the threshold rolls over to the next cycle until the threshold is met
Commissions enter a holding period after the original payment to allow refunds and disputes to settle. They become payable only after the holding period elapses without a reversal
Failed payouts (closed bank account, unverified PayPal, KYC issue, etc.) block new payouts to the same affiliate until the failed payout is resolved (retried successfully, or cancelled and the balance returned to the available pool)
Arkvon may pause or cancel a payout if there is reasonable suspicion of fraud or violation of these Affiliate Terms
You are an independent contractor for tax purposes. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying all taxes on commissions you receive.
Depending on your country and the merchant's country, you may be required to provide tax forms (W-8BEN, W-9, or local equivalents) before payouts can be released
Arkvon does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction
If you fail to provide required tax documentation, the merchant or Arkvon may withhold payouts until the documentation is received
Arkvon provides the technical infrastructure that records clicks, leads, payments, and payouts. We are not party to the contractual relationship between you and the merchant.
If you disagree with a merchant about commission amounts, payout timing, or program rules, raise the issue with the merchant first using the contact details on the campaign page
Arkvon may, at its discretion, intervene to mediate disputes — but is not obligated to do so and is not responsible for resolving merchant-side commercial decisions
Where the merchant's recorded behavior in our system differs from what's promised (e.g., a payout marked PAID that you never received), Arkvon's logs are the authoritative record of what was tracked, recommended, and finalized within the platform
Either you, the merchant, or Arkvon may end your participation in a campaign at any time:
You may leave a campaign at any time from your affiliate dashboard. Pending commissions that have completed their holding period continue to settle on the normal payout schedule unless the merchant specifies otherwise
A merchant may pause or end their campaign. If a campaign is paused, no new commissions accrue, but commissions already earned (and within the holding period) continue to settle. If a campaign is ended, you will be notified
Arkvon may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Affiliate Terms, the general Terms of Use, or applicable law. Where suspension is for suspected fraud, in-flight payouts may be held until the investigation completes
Surviving obligations after termination include payment of legitimately earned and settled commissions, tax reporting obligations, and the prohibited-practices section as it applies to past activity
You may only use a merchant's name, logo, screenshots, and marketing copy in ways the merchant has explicitly authorized — typically through assets the merchant provides on the campaign page or by written confirmation. You may not register domain names, social handles, or app names that mimic the merchant's brand without their permission.
Arkvon provides the affiliate platform on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arkvon is not liable for:
Lost commissions caused by the merchant misconfiguring their checkout integration (e.g., failing to pass affiliate metadata to Stripe)
Outages or delays in Stripe, Wise, PayPal, or other third-party services that affect tracking or payouts
Commercial decisions by the merchant, including changing commission rates, ending campaigns, or refunding customers
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation
We process the data we need to attribute clicks, leads, and payments to you (your email, account details, payout information, and aggregated traffic data). See our Privacy Policy for the full picture. You agree that the merchant whose campaign you participate in may receive aggregated and customer-level data necessary for them to verify your commissions.
We may update these Affiliate Terms from time to time. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or in-product notification before they take effect. Your continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance.
